I think she should get the Gateway DX4822-01 because it it has a 23in widescreen lcd monitor rather than 14 crt monitor. It’s processor is a Intel Pentium processor E5300 which is light years better than a Intel Pentium Processor III. She will have plenty of memory with this computer it has 6 GB DDR2 memory. This computer provides her with a huge hard drive with 1 TB. So she has enough space to put videos , pictures, and programs. It has CD and DVD drive so she can play cds and watch dvd movies.

October 28, 2009I recommend you upgrade your processor so that your computer can process a lot quicker than 1.0 GHz.
You can upgrade your graphic card higher from 256 mb to 1 GB that way you have tons of space for games, and animations.
USb ports u can always have more of them instead of just 1. That way you can hook up more than things that requires using a USB port.
